Monday 3rd September 2018 -
Pupils, parents/carers and grandparents are invited to view the new school. (current pupils and their families only)
The pupils actually start back on Tuesday 4th September 2018 but we are sure they, (and you and those that drop off and pick up) would love to see the school before 'the big day'.
We will give you a time later on in the term that you can come along and tour the school at your leisure, marvel at the space we will have and see what facitlities your children will be able to enjoy from then on.
You will be greeted by staff who will guide you through the building and point out your classroom, cloakroom, toilets and main areas as you go through. Teachers will be around to answer any questions and of course show you where to gather for the start of the day and where to meet your children at the end of the day.
Meeting points will be very important as we will no longer be able to have sharing time inside school due to its size (except for early years pupils). Staff will come out in the mornings to line pupils up in order to escort them into the building. It will be at that point you can have a word with your child's teacher if needed.
Staff will be available from 8.45 am outside (weather permitting) but doors will not open until 8.55am. It will be when the doors open that parents can then leave the playgrounds knowing their child is safely in school.
Saturday 29th September 2018 - Open Day at the new Bursar Primary Academy on Clee Road
General public invitation
We will open on a Saturday for the general public to view the school.
We know there will be lots of general interest in how the school has been renovated. For that reason - whilst we can't open on a school day, we will open on a Saturday for the public to pop in to have a look around.
We will be open from 10 am until 4pm.
Visitors should park in the car park off Clee Road and enter the building at the main door on Clee Road.
We look forward to welcoming ex pupils, teachers, relatives of persons who attended and generally people of the town interested in seeing how the renovations have been completed.
