Writing, Punctuation and Grammar
To help bring our learning to life we will be reading Grandpa's Great Escape by David Walliams. This book will support our learning across the curriculum and drive our writing foci this term. Our writing genres will include: a character description, a instruction text and a diary entry.
During the Autumn Term we will ensuring we are able to spell all words from the Y1 and 2 spelling list. It would be great if you could practise unknown spellings too!
Our weekly spellings during Autumn 2 will be the rule of spelling adverbs ending in ly (e.g. quickly, happily, gently, terribly, truely)
